Our very own walks manager has been out on a recce and he’s shared these
pictures with us of a walk to the Pheasant at Burwardsley for a lovely lunch
– the knickerbocker glory got a special mention! Just as well it was a 7.7
mile ramble to burn off all those calories. Capped off with beautiful views
of Beeston castle not to mention the “railway” at Bulkeley Hill and its
ancient woodland of sweet chestnuts. Just one of our many walks for all
abilities from the Sandstone Trail Cottages.
